It’s funny. I see you more often now that I’m working part-time than before. I was hoping that, before my last day as a regular employee at work, I could have spoken to you. Maybe just say hi, or good afternoon, or the usual pleasantries. I haven’t talked to you since last year. You used to have lunch with us too. Not often, but well. It’s different now I suppose. Or again, it is just me looking for subtext.

I just wanted to thank you. If it was not for you – and my ensuing foolishness – I would have never gone back to my faith. You were the peculiar instrument for my conversion. Mysterious, faith. Sorry. This is random. I just feel bad not greeting you or even looking your way. Things have changed. I’ve progressed. And I just wish I could talk to you one last time.
